Volunteers for
 GAME DAY OPERATIONS

Get real, hands-on experience in professional basketball! The Jacksonville 95ers are seeking college students, former college students, and motivated volunteers to join our GameDay Operations Team for the upcoming semi-pro basketball season. This is a great opportunity to gain behind-the-scenes experience in sports operations, fan engagement, and event management.

Season Commitment: March – June (including playoffs)

POSITION DESCRIPTIONS

Scorer’s Table / Table Operations
Assist with official game operations at the scorer’s table. Responsibilities include helping manage the game clock, scoreboard, statistics, and communicating with referees and league officials. Individuals must be detail-oriented, focused, and able to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.

VIP Seating & Hospitality
Provide premium service to sponsors, VIP guests, and special attendees. Duties include greeting guests, checking credentials, assisting with seating, and ensuring VIP areas remain organized and welcoming throughout the game. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service and communication skills.

Team Locker Room Attendant
Support players and coaching staff before, during, and after games. Responsibilities include preparing locker rooms, managing access, assisting with equipment needs, and maintaining a professional and organized team area. Confidentiality and professionalism are required at all times.

Fan Experience / Game Operations Assistant
Help enhance the overall fan experience during home games. Tasks may include assisting with halftime activities, promotions, crowd engagement, giveaways, and in-game entertainment coordination. This role is great for energetic individuals who enjoy interacting with fans.

Setup & Breakdown Crew
Assist with pre-game setup and post-game breakdown of the venue. Duties include court setup, signage placement, tables, chairs, and ensuring the facility is game-ready. This role may require light lifting and early arrival or late departure.

Performers for
 HALFTIME & NATIONAL ANTHEM 

Showcase your talent in front of a live basketball crowd! The Jacksonville 95ers are seeking talented performers, singers, groups, schools, and organizations interested in performing during Halftime or singing the National Anthem at home games during the upcoming semi-pro basketball season. This is a great opportunity for exposure, community engagement, and live performance experience in a professional sports environment.

Season Dates: March – June (including playoffs)
 
PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
National Anthem Performer. Perform the National Anthem prior to tip-off in front of fans, players, coaches, and community leaders. This opportunity is ideal for solo vocalists, choirs, vocal groups, or instrumental performers who can deliver a respectful and professional rendition.
 
Responsibilities include:
● Arriving early on game day for sound check
●Performing a clear, professional version of the National Anthem
●Maintaining proper attire and presentation
● Following all game-day timing and production cues
 
Halftime Performer
Bring energy and excitement to the crowd during halftime! Performances may include dance teams, cheer squads, step teams, bands, DJs, youth organizations, schools, or other entertainment acts.
 
Responsibilities include:
●Providing a high-energy, family-friendly performance
●Coordinating with GameDay staff on timing and setup
●Arriving prepared and ready to perform on cue
● Keeping performances within allotted time limits
 
IDEAL PERFORMERS
● Individuals or groups of all ages
● Local schools, studios, churches, and community organizations
● Confident, professional, and reliable performers
● Comfortable performing in front of large crowds
